Cyberism - a parrel to anything offline must be Cyber!

From cyborg to cyber-mania, as online socialization peeks to everything that is emotional and dramatic, it is wonder how many 'cybers' have been made.  Would any of the past psychologists ever thought how far their methods would expand?   At the time perhaps it wasn't an issue beyond outer society to study the interactions of the individual mind.  Now with a solid communication line through the Internet, people can act as they would face to face.  Or do they?  Some would argue how people interact online does not necessarily reflect them.  We become cyber-people online; completely different in imagery until associated with pictures or web videos.  But I'd beg to differ; I have every reason to believe the psyche of an individual is greatly magnified when dissociated with image; a reason to study the minds and behaviors through words, word choice, or word structure comes into play.  Could this be cyber-psychology?  It's not farfetched to say anything online affects people both good and bad.  Take 'cyber-bullying' for example.  There are many people that it affects even when some of us would never think that it should have as much impact that it does.  Before you know it, we'll have cyber-doctors and cyber-scientists, if we don't already.

Who needs newspaper anymore? It's all in your house.

Civilization has depended on local or worldly news brought to them to keep in touch with events happening during their lives.  Seems like people become increasingly dependent on such news as newer ways of it being delivered presents itself. From stone slabs, to newspapers, to megaphones, to radio, to television, to computers; we have less and less reason to even walk out of our own bedrooms in hopes for the media to tell us what is going on in our lives.  Soon, we may not even have any need for our own limbs.  But while news can now be given to us through online media, people now have the ability to freely respond to it as though they are standing side by side by the ones printing the news on that printed paper.  Although, it also enables people to get carried away that much more as well.  It is very easy to lose control when your eyes become glued to the lightly lit screen in front of you.  Computerized media has its ways of mesmerizing people.

Let us Start

For starters, this will be the first time I have ever bothered to start a blog.  For years I have only heard of the concepts of blogging or read blogs of others, but never got to make one myself.  So consider this a novice's first attempt and will intriguingly learn as I go along with this.  I cannot guarantee how interesting I can be while starting out; at least not yet.  If nothing else, I may amuse you all, or perhaps, myself.  I decided on a theme based on the technological world that has grown more involved with our lives; grown to the point that it is a perfectly solid communication system, not only with people close to us in every way shape or form, but with people beyond our reach.  Online communication in itself has given a new meaning of social engineering.  I look to combine experience with observation as I explore the technological world inside and out.  And perhaps in this case, even document some of my thoughts on the matter.
